Cambridge Dance Party

What an amazing night to be out in the beautiful city, Cambridge MA. My boyfriend and I decided to go check out our friends band at a cool spot called CanTab Lounge last night.
When we arrived in Cambridge it was packed with people everywhere. We had no idea what
was going on but when we finally found parking, about .5 miles from our destination, we were excitedly walking through all the amazing-mess of people dancing and having a good time. The event was called “The Cambridge, MA Dance Party”.

Needless to say, I busted out my camera and starting taking photos before I got my booty shaking on as we strolled through the massive crowds of happy dancing people everywhere to get to our destination to enjoy some live music.

Love being a Bostonian.

A Fitness Decision Worth Sharing

I randomly asked about 60 people at the gym over the course of a week and only 5 of those people thought about fitness the way I do. I’m motivated to get fit for my health and to look good for myself. The others all had separate motivation for getting fit. Now whatever the motivation, as long as your getting fit, that’s awesome. I personally feel if your getting fit to, catch a guy or a girl, or be the l Iife of the party, or to get into that wedding dress, or as most said, they wanted to look like the model they have on there refrigerator, that motivation in my opinion, eventually stops and the pounds come back.

I’ve decided that working out for me goes for as long as I live. I speak from experience. I used to be one of those motivated by whom I saw on TV, to turn heads, and those are all great benefits of getting fit but, I find that getting fit for myself is so much more permanent. I just found that because of my curvy body type, that I would never look look like that model I had my fridge. That just lead to me becoming unmotivated. So I embrace my curves and adopted “FIT FOR ME”.

I get excited to hit the gym and to go grocery shopping for recipes I find in my healthy eating cook books.

We all come in different shapes and sizes and so does forms of beauty. The bottom line is, once I
made the decision to get fit for me, the road ahead was so much clearer.

If you have any cool recipes or fitness tips, leave me a comment below. To have like minded folks on-line that think and feel the same, is like icing on the cake.

Getting Closer To That Cup Of Chowder for the Boston Bruins

I’m just finished up in the office doing promotional work for the band SanzEnd. Now it’s time for a glass of crisp white wine, write on my blog and get ready for Game 4 of the Boston vs. Chicago Stanley Cup Finals.

For all my fellow Boston Fan, I know I can’t be the only one that has been on the edge of her seat during the Boston Bruins Playfoff series. It’s like no matter how pissed off I get at the Bruins Claude Julien, I end up gaining more respect for him as the Playoffs continue. Why? DUH….it’s because of his mad genius of line work the Bruins are coming up with Wins. I’m saying this as I’m knocking on wood. I don’t want to Jinx my boys.

Living here in Boston and being surrounded by my fellow SUPER sports fans is so thrilling.

Time to order the pizza and get ready for the Rumble. Go B’ssss.
Even my dog Lexi is a Bruins Super Fan. She’s certainly ready for a new hat.

Sharing The Same Birthday

So yesterday was my birthday and I had an amazing time celebrating it with my boyfriend and some friends. My birthday is about a week long. LUCKY ME.
I live in Boston and New York City so I have friends in both areas. So let the celebration rain.

Anyway, it got me thinking that since my boyfriend and I share the same birthday, yes both of our birthday’s falls on June 18th, that what famous people have a birthday on June 18.

It seems Sir Paul McCartney, Blake Sheldon, and Richard Madden, and Roger Ebert, my boyfriend and I share the same birthday. That was pretty exciting to find out.

Hey Sir Paul McCartney, if you read this, I’d love to do a duet with you. Just sayin’!

Bears In My Backyard

So right down the street from my families camp in New Hampshire there were these two black bears just hanging out.
When we spotted them they were no more than 100 feet away. Thank god the mom was in a good mood.
Momma and baby. I guess we have to be really careful this summer.

So what shall we name them?

Unbelievable Rainbows in Boston

There were some incredible rainbows in the Boston sky yesterday. What an amazing view to see before heading in to see the Rolling Stones in concert at the TD Garden.

Have you ever seen this type of magic in our skies? I haven’t. Just incredible. I wanted to share this with you.
